Gradient Daisy Media is a collective of my passions. Back in Fall of 2022 I had this feeling I couldn't shake of wanting to start a photography business, after spending several years doing social media management and other small business jobs. I knew that I wanted to focus on portraits and small business branding; I had loved getting to know local small businesses through my marketing career, and taking fun photos of my loved ones throughout the years brought me and them so much joy.
I launched Gradient Daisy Media in January of 2023!
Since then I have opened my own small studio in Wasilla, Alaska, achieved 2nd place in the Frontiersman's Best of the Valley awards in 2025 for Photographer category, helped over 150 entrepreneurs with their branding images, and documented many many portrait sessions for amazing individuals!
I also achieved getting my Creating Brand Value certification from Harvard Business School Online's program in 2025. I have launched my brand coaching course and services to help other brand owners with their marketing strategy to help them also grow their small businesses- with a focus in female led entrepreneurs.
My passion is to help women feel confident and seen through female empowerment photography and branding work, and to document memories that feel authentic and organic for families. As a momma entrepreneur of 2 daughters, I know how important it is to have those years documented for your family and to have a business that is fulfilling!
FAQ
I. Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
Anything beyond these cities/ destinations past Wasilla or Palmer will encur a travel fee: Big Lake, Sutton, Alaska Glacier Lodge (Knik River Rd.) and Beluga Point outside of Anchorage. I love to travel to other Alaskan towns so please reach out if you have a dream destination and I will give you a travel cost price so Ican get there! :)
II. Can you edit me to look more ___?
My editing style includes soft edits to appearance such as pimple retouching, brightening, and teeth whitening. Other edits may occur due to my judgement. (maybe a nip slipped?) I do not drastically alter body parts and appearance with my edits. You are amazing the way that you are! :)
III. We want to include our pet(s) in the photos, is that okay?
Yes, for sure! Keep in mind though that if your pet is overly excited and is jumping and visiting it doesn't bother me, but it could take away from active shooting time. I have had families and individuals take photos with their doggos first thing to get them done, then the dog can play after.
IV. How long does it take to receive photos back?
Approximately 4 weeks for a branding or portrait session. I have an express edit option for $75 for sessions less than 2 hours which gets you them back in up to 5 business days and $100 for sessions more than 2 hours which gets you them back in up to 7 business days. Everything else is subject to times listed here or your contract.
V. How will the photos be delivered?
I will send you a digital online gallery with hi-res files that you can download from directly! Certain packages also have an s.d. drive included. If you'd like to add one to a package that it isn't included in, please let me know.
VI. Do you offer gift certificates?
Not at this time- sessions and coaching will need to be paid for at time of booking or purchasing
VIII. Do you give out raw/unedited files?
I do not give out any raw files. Everything is edited with care and to my creative vision for your session.
IX. Is there a deposit to book?
Yes, I send an invoice for 50% of the session cost. This is the retainer and it is non refundable, but is transferable to a new date and time or to use as credit for rescheduling if you give an ample notice (min 24 hours). It can be transferred 1 time to a new day or time with this notice. a 2nd reschedule would be subject to a no show. If you no show your spot is then forfeited and a new retainer is required to book again. It holds your spot on my schedule so that it isn’t booked for someone else. No session is booked until this is paid for. I give 24 hours for this to be paid or it will be cancelled. (I will reach out to you first) Typically businesses opt to pay 100% up front when the person who handles financials is not there to pay the other half at the session.
X. Are you LGBTQ or 4/20 friendly?
